“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Chestnut House! The pictures online were beautiful, but seeing it in person was even better. The picturesque landscape and the calming sounds of the Piney River truly made it feel like a slice of heaven.The host went above and beyond, providing unexpected extras like donuts, eggs, and popsicles. My 1-year-old and 5-year-old grandchildren had an absolute blast. We will definitely be returning!”

“My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to explore the Staunton area and it worked out nicely. The owners were always very on top of communication, kind, and accommodating. Everything in the home was decorated well, and functioned well for 2 people who like to save a bit and do breakfast in the house and have some leftovers around after eating out. The location was close to downtown and we walked practically everywhere in the downtown area from the house. It does sit atop a pretty steep……

We took full advantage of the property's proximity to several trailheads. We love Crabtree Falls and even ventured to the Natural Bridge in Lexington. It was so nice to enjoy such a peaceful escape. The cottage was comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and loved being able to sleep with the windows open! Thank you fo a beautiful stay.……
