“The surrounding property is low income but we met several of the elderly neighbors one was actually Santa Claus. I went out early on a Saturday morning to see an elderly man with his bright red trousers with big fuzzy white cuffs feeding his cat. He was getting dressed to play Santa Claus on the Santa train in nearby Versailles, Kentucky. The house is old but extremely clean with comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen. There’s a nearby bakery the outstanding in very easy walking distance.……

“Peaceful, relaxing, really enjoyed it”

“Loved the cottage, super clean and fresh, very nicely updated, very classy. My only disappointment was that it was portayed (in my opinion) as if it was the only cottage there. There is one in close proximity behind the unit and it appears that there is one above the unit that we stayed in. I would not have booked if I had realized this. All that having been said, I'm glad that we stayed there. It was a very nice place to spend a few days - you won't find a cleaner VRBO or nicer setting.”

“First, the cabin is very clean with a good kitchen and comfortable bedroom. The location by the creek is really nice and the screen porch is fantastic. However, the bathroom is very cramped. The toilet is especially problematic if you are tall because it is quite low and positioned very closely to the opposing wall. Also, the road is fairly close and can be quite loud. Thankfully, the traffic died down after bedtime. I would love to give this 5 stars because of the super nice owners but in……

“My friend and I stayed here for a big event at the Kentucky Horse Park . It was about a 20-25 min drive but so worth it ! This cute cottage is tucked on a pristine farm located close to Keeneland . While it sits adjacent to the owners home you enjoy complete privacy . Jennifer was the perfect host and went above & beyond to make our stay just perfect . We would love to return ! ”

“6 of us all professionals in our late 50’s and 60’s had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful venue. Very clean and well appointed. All questions were answered in a timely fashion. “This was such a gem and a fun trip!! We were able to drive an hour out to Louisville and visit Buffalo Trace etc during the trip. The houses were clean and the area is beautiful. We saw a beautiful sunset in the afternoon and got to experience the Kentucky river right in front of us. Something else that gets overlooked often - the shower head was high up! Traveling with a very tall man, this was a blessing. I can’t say enough great things about these houses! ”

“We rented this house for a 30th birthday weekend. It was as adorable as pictured with the girliest small touches that really set it apart from other options. We walked several places for shopping and eating. I hadn’t realized there was only one shower but it worked out just fine. Would definitely stay again. ”
