“Cannot say enough about how completely relaxing this cottage is! Every possible amenity is provided, the view from the deck is beautiful, landscaping is charming, it is always immaculate, and it so quiet, yet close to everything we like (by boat or car)...Back Porch Grill, Fisherman's Wharf, boat launch, marina (for repair or gas), and Garvin's Gardens. We try to come here at least once every year, and somehow it just keeps being better! Thank you Marie for providing NIRVANA II for us. ”

“Love the layout of the cottage. Not too small and not too large, wonderful kitchen, Weber Grill on back patio was great for grilling shrimp with a view of the water. Clean, comfortable and easy to relax. Definitely recommend and we will return to it again. ”

“The house was nicely done and is surrounded by the Hot Springs National Forest . There is a trailhead less than a quarter mile from the house so we hiked with our dog in the morning and enjoyed the natural beauty in the area for the rest of the day. Loved the Garvan Botanical Garden and the Anthony Chapel”

“Our family of 5 and dog stayed at this little cottage. We enjoyed swimming off of the dock and the ability to park our boat. We enjoyed nearby hiking and exploring. We would love to come back. Don’t expect 5 Star, but it does the job for a great price. I am tall and had to duck through doorways and there were a ton of crane flies, but no deal breakers. We enjoyed waking up to the river. Thanks for the enjoyable family get away. ”

“We arrived in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. The rain continued the days we were there. The cabin access road washed out. I contacted Theresa and within a half an hour she had opened her private gate for us to gain access to the highway. Wonderful communication, wonderful environment, super cozy and clean The vibe is one of being alone in the middle of a beautiful hardwood forest. The water feature is natural. The hot tub is perfect. I can’t say enough about how much I love this place.”
