“House was clearly not ready to be rented and had overdue maintenance which was known before booking. Broken railing to ground floor, open broken porch, toilet was broken, dining room chairs and sofa were dirty, back entrance was blocked by overgrown bushes, garden chairs broken, mold in bathroom. “The villa is spacious and well equipped. Don’t expect modern and new, but it has everything you will need for your stay. The villa was built many years ago so don’t expect state of the art bathrooms etc. but it is charming. Little things would have improved our stay: Update the towels and bed linen that you charge extra for. Nobody wants thin, crispy towels and tired bed sheets. Pillows !! Nobody wants to sleep on a long bolster pillow that feels like a log. Several members of my family……
