“The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy. “We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy cottage! The setting on the lake is so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed watching sunsets on the dock. Being steps from the water was so fun. The water out to the end of the dock stays fairly shallow so our young kids had a blast splashing and swimming. We also enjoyed bonfires, kayaks, and some fishing. “Great cabin right in the middle of Eastern U.P. which allows easy travel to other great tourist areas in any direction. We went NW to Munising, north to Grand Marais, NE to Tahquamenon Falls, SE to Mackinaw, and SW to Manistique. Cabin came fully stocked with what we needed, included games and movies, and had a nice pond that really added to the peaceful environment.”

“This was a great last minute booking for us when we found Houghton did not have snow less than a week before our trip. We quick booked this knowing we would have to trailer our snowmobiles north and we were ok with it. There was a good bar nearby. The only slight issue is communication when we were not getting a response through the app. I finally found a number on an email and was able to communicate that was. Even with that it was a great extended weekend!”

“Our family had a great time staying at the sunshine shack! Lots of room, never felt like we were on top of each other. The basement game area was great for our teens and adults. Extra fridge in the garage made storing everyone’s food simple. The park across the street was great for the younger kids and a family game of kickball.
