“Batesville is a surprisingly nice little town. The Sherman is cute and clean. There are multiple places to walk to in the downtown area. ”

“ We loved the quiet and seclusion of this little place. It was well worth the 50 minute drive to the Creation Museum and the 90 minute drive to the Ark Encounter. We came back to peace after being around crowds all day. The kitchen was well furnished with all we needed for enjoying our homemade meals. We especially enjoyed the plush white towels and bedding! We would definitely stay here again!”

“We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully restored historic home in Vernon. It’s full of character but also has all the modern comforts—comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of space to relax. The downstairs bedroom with its own sitting area and half-bath was a great bonus.We especially loved the private courtyard with the firepit—perfect for quiet evenings—and the location couldn’t be better. Everything in town was within walking distance: restaurants, the river, and a peaceful……

“Beautiful view overlooking Muscatatuck River. Very close to North Vernon for good food if that's your plan. I can recommend Nash's for great food and experience. The place was very clean, and it does come with a gas grill, but only two burners would work. Good enough for our one meal in though. Had to reset the internet router and that seemed to fix most of our connectivity issues. I would definitely come back here!”

“The overall stay was great. The B unit was like brand new. Lots of coffee was provided and the coffee machine was amazing. There were, however, a few things that could be improved. I wasn’t given an entry code so we had to use an app on the phone to get in every time which was annoying. Be sure to ask for a code. We only had 6 bath towels for 4 people so we had to do a load of towels every day. The laundry machines were great though. In case anyone has certain needs, here are some additional……
