“We had a short stay which was a bummer but it was our chance at a quick getaway for our 10yr anniversary. A night to ourselves w/o our children doesn’t come often so we always hope to make it worth it. This hotel met & then exceeded our expectations; starting with the front desk/staff who didn’t let the late night hours interfere with their dedication to customer service & making us feel warm & welcomed from start to finish. “Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk gave great local recommendations and made a personal connection as we were both heading to Bar Harbor the next day. Breakfast was reasonably priced especially for having smoked salmon on the buffet to go on my bagel and even had capers. Staff at the restaurant was also great. ”

"The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the light either! We pay more for a water view room, but end up had no view and no good sleep! Pleople who works in the bar restaurant are really friendly, but the environment is filthy! A lot feathers came out of decoration pillows! Not very comfortable visually! "
