“Comfy master bed. Plenty of hot water. Views from the dock across the street were relaxing. 2 different living spaces in the house. Easy to communicate with the owner. No dishwasher. There is a fire pit and a deck with an outdoor grill (didn’t get a chance to use either even though we bought camp wood). Location for purpose of our leaf peeping trip was ok. AC units in several of the rooms. We only found heat in main room— not sure if just missed it or what but was ok. Didn’t have time to use……

“The place was splendid! We loved the arrangement, and the outside deck was just great. We sat afternoons, soaking up the sun, watching the ducks swim by, and the river meandering along. The place was but a short distance from several outlet stores and we enjoyed driving around the countryside. We definitely will return next year. ”

“Very cool cabin, it has all the amenities but still feels cozy & rustic. Host was super. Beautiful area with picturesque mountain lakes, separated from the crowds of Lake George without feeling inconvenient. Some folks (especially ones like us with a younger kid) may want to consider that although the cabin is essentially “on the water” there is no way to walk alongside it on this property. “If you are looking for a nice, quiet place in the Adirondacks look no further. The cabin was well appointed as well as extremely clean. Our family of 4 plus our dog felt right at home as soon as we settled in to the cabin. Communication with the owners was great and they offered excellent restaurant recommendations. We are looking forward to spending time here again in the summer months.”

“This place, up a steep gravel driveway, can hold lots of people, and is full of stuff that kept kids endlessly entertained. It’s definitely set up for gatherings, especially for people who want a remote location with plenty of space, indoors and out, to spread out”

“We stayed at the River Bend cabin for a few days at the end of summer to visit with friends who have a house on Lake Sacandaga. The cabin was PERFECT for us! It has a large property that sits back from the road and is pretty secluded with the creek winding around 3 sides of the house. Plenty of woods surrounding the property as well. We enjoyed the fire pit out back and the hot tub on the porch. My daughter (10) loved the loft where she slept on a blow up bed that we brought from home. The……

“This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. The cabin was spotless and cozy- the little touches of decorations/candles gave it a very welcoming feel. The area was beautiful, so many places to hike and explore! It was great to have a fire by the river in the evenings and a cup of coffee……

“Barbara was so easy and nice to communicate with! The house was as described/looks in pictures and had everything we needed for our family (13 people), including a basement area where the kids could hang out and watch tv while we cooked in the beautiful kitchen! Great area with a clubhouse down the road for use. Would definitely stay again! ”
