“Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, sunny living room with breath taking views of the mountains. The recliners and the propane fireplace offered a cozy space to read, visit, or just enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy white towels. The kitchen was well appointed right down to the martini shaker. The attention to every detail was so appreciated and made for a memorable stay. Thank you for sharing your special place.”

“I planned this trip for my birthday, and it was absolutely what I was hoping for. The people running the place were beyond kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable/happy. The cabin was exactly as portrayed, if not better. ”

“As soon as we walked through the first floor we realized we needed to come back again and started planning. Our Girl Scout Troop made this our end of the year overnight adventure and we have to stay much longer next time! Kids and adults were mesmerized from the beginning and we had an absolute blast. “lovely remote cabin ; lots of trees, quiet. We enjoyed seeing the horses on our way in! Really appreciated being able to bring our dog. Very comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen, AC kept entire house cool. The layout of the cabin allows for some privacy and quiet , which is very nice. Some games and books in living room ; (the upstairs has a high ridge in the middle, and then a fairly low ceiling.) Worked fine for our young adult daughter, who is 5 ft. 7 inches. “We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness. Recommend!”

“We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”

“We came to visit my daughter who lives near by and couldn’t have picked a better place ! The cottage is immaculate everything you could need! The view is amazing on the water . The only negative thing I would say is the no internet access only for the reason we got locked out when we 1rst arrived and we were able to find a spot outside to texted the owner a message and he was there very quickly. Overall we had the best time and would highly recommend this place !!”

“This is an exceptional place to spend a couple days. The amenities are perfect and the setting is just simply magical. The simplicity of the area makes you feel like you’re camping but with almost all the things you need to feel luxurious. Check in was super simple and the owners were always accommodating and quick to respond. Little details were not missed. The cabin was super clean, well maintained, the shower was fantastic and the bed was really comfortable. Simply a perfect retreat……
