“House was perfect - plenty of beds and areas to hang out together. Very nice kitchen and big dining table. Lake was frozen (should have brought skates!) - but looks like a great place to stay summer or winter. 15 minutes to Sunday River.Janna was very responsive to any questions we had. “Overall, we had a great stay. There were some issues worth mentioning. We arrived at the house and there were no towels at all. The did deliver some bath towels and then had to come back the next day to deliver dish & hand towels. One night on our trip we woke up to no water and were told the well needed to refill. So we just didn’t have water for hours which really interrupted getting ready for our day. They did drop water off to drink but a shower wasn’t possible. Overall, we liked this……

“We stayed here with another family. We had kids ranging from ages 3 to 10. The bunk room was great for them. The adults enjoyed the hot tub. Diane provided some sleds for the kids to use and they really enjoyed playing in the snow. Everything was clean and neat. We cooked several meals at the house and found all the supplies we needed. ”

“The property was as listed and was exactly what we needed as a family. Overall, the property is exactly as shown. A great relaxing spot away from everything, but close enough to drive. The host was welcoming with a great welcome basket and suggestions for local attractions. I would absolutely rent from them again. The cookware and options were fantastic. Having your first meal provided is also a great welcome. The couch was very comfortable and the smart TV gives plenty of options to watch……

“The cabin was simply amazing for my family of ten. It was so cozy!! We did many local things, and took day trips to Portland & Bar Harbor. We will definitely stay here again… beautiful scene watching the fog lift off the mountain in the morning while sipping coffee.”

“Overall we had a great stay at this house. We got to check in early which was great. The fireplace is so cozy and the main room is an awesome place to hangout. If we had one thing that could have been better, the upstairs bedrooms need new mattresses. Ours sunk down in the middle and needed to be replaced. My brother in-law said theirs needed replacing too. Otherwise it was great! ”
