“Stayed here for a low-key bachelor party and had a ton of fun exploring the local area. The house was clean, kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group. There were only 4 of us so there was plenty of extra space. View from the house itself was awesome, and close to hikes and restaurants. Photo is from a hike we took 10mins from the house. ”

“Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this cabin with friends. However, there were some issues with cleanliness and the layout that made the cost feel high for what we got.With regards to cleanliness, the sheets on one of the beds smelled very strongly of mildew, like they'd sat in the washing machine too long, and there was a bag of dog poop by the stoop. “Stayed at this beautiful cabin for my soon to be sister in laws bachelorette and boy did we have a great time! The space is beautiful and the views are out of this world! The bedrooms are super spacious and can accommodate a lot of guests. Communication with the owners and property managers was super easy and they made it known we could reach out to them for anything! We consider ourselves bird nerds and got some great photos in the yard. We will definitely be back again! ”

“The pictures describe the home well. The house is spacious and comfortable. We skied Sunday River and it was in close proximity to the mountain. The open floor plan was nice and the entire family could be upstairs and spread out.We would choose to book here again in the future ”

“Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, sunny living room with breath taking views of the mountains. The recliners and the propane fireplace offered a cozy space to read, visit, or just enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy white towels. “Me and a group of friends rented this Yurt for a little hiking weekend trip! The yurt was really nice and the property was beautiful. Justin provided a sled to us to help trek our stuff up and it was really helpful! The only issue we had during the trip was with parking. We parked about 100ft from the no parking sign but then received a text when we got back down in the morning that parking authorities didn’t like us parking there. Justin handled the situation great! “We had a wonderful time! Janna’s house was perfect for our big family. Lots of room to spread out, activities to do and being close to the lake was perfect. The kids got to ice fish, build snow huts and ski at the local mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need and there were plenty of blankets.Janna was great to work with. Easy to connect with, answered all our questions and was very helpful. We highly recommend staying here!”

“We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It had plenty of room for the family and amazing views. A 5 min drive to Mt. Abram and a 10 min drive to Bethel/Sunday River, the house is conveniently located. My only suggestion would be to bring awd vehicles if going in the winter as the road and the driveway are tough in the snow without awd. Other than that our trip was perfect and the communication from the owners superb. We would definitely rent here again! W”

“Exactly what was advertised! Great location and cozy log cabin experience. The bit about the mice droppings is also accurate:) it would make a big difference to clean up droppings prior to guests arrival. We knew it was rustic but having droppings on the clean towels and plates in the cabinet was a bit of an ick.Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience. ”

“We stayed for a week over spring break for some spring skiing. The house is amazing - spacious, clean and well equipped. The grill must have been replaced bc previous reviews said it was an issue. My husband used it twice with no issue. The oven needs to be replaced. We made the best of it, but it wouldn’t get to temperature and was very finicky. Locks on several exterior doors are not functional. It’s a very secluded place so it didn’t feel like an issue but would be an easy remedy. ”

“Beautiful home with stunning mountain views! The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed for a fun girls ski weekend. A cozy, beautiful fireplace (gas), lots of room to relax, convenient to Black Mountain, Jackson XC Center and Jackson Village. I would suggest bringing your own coffee maker as the house only had a Keurig. I always bring a coffee maker so we were covered. We will definitely be back next winter! Loved it! ”
