“We rented both the Maine House and the Country House next door for our small wedding weekend! Our family and close friends all had space to stay. The rain held off for us to do our ceremony out on the lawn, and then we went inside for dinner and dancing in the big room. It was perfect. The house has its quirks and it’s definitely a big old summer camp that could use a little maintenance, but it turned out really cute and exactly what we needed. ”

“We had such a wonderful time at this A-frame! The location is perfect - tucked away about 10 minutes from town but still easily accessible, and just a short 5-minute walk to the pond. The house itself was spotless, which was especially impressive since it's pet-friendly. Honestly, you'd never know pets had stayed there - no lingering odors whatsoever. “Very casual about check in they live next to the main Office and have kids so may be next door. Just key the radio on counter. We got there early and were given a good fishing place to try out before we came back. The last day we got directions to a local lake that is a short walk down a logging road. Like having a whole valley with a lake in the middle to yourself. We didn’t see a soul the whole time and it’s a good size lake. The description about out being off grid is dead on, 12 bolt lights……

“Great family vacation. The property is perfect for a large group. Plenty of room to spread out or be together. Ben is attentive and very responsive when something comes up. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working and couldn’t be fixed during our stay but the pool was so much fun for all. ”

“Comfortable getaway in the beautiful White Mountains. You’ll enjoy the close proximity to North Conway(about 20 minutes). Do not miss the guided van trip up Mt Washington. Nearby Mexican restaurant across from the market was excellent.This house is tastefully decorated, comfortable king bed, rustic/modern, and perfect for a large skiing group with 8 single beds upstairs. We were just a couple and it worked for us. We have a small senior dog that we took for short walks on the unpaved road……
