“Very casual about check in they live next to the main Office and have kids so may be next door. Just key the radio on counter. We got there early and were given a good fishing place to try out before we came back. The last day we got directions to a local lake that is a short walk down a logging road. Like having a whole valley with a lake in the middle to yourself. We didn’t see a soul the whole time and it’s a good size lake. The description about out being off grid is dead on, 12 bolt lights……

“I planned this trip for my birthday, and it was absolutely what I was hoping for. The people running the place were beyond kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable/happy. The cabin was exactly as portrayed, if not better. ”

“Very clean and well decorated cabin. Well supplied with cooking equipment and dinnerware, utensils, etc, including gas grill, charcoal grill and fire pit.Big yard for children and pets. Great location for exploring nearby hiking trails, swimming beach, fishing, hunting, etc.”

“lovely remote cabin ; lots of trees, quiet. We enjoyed seeing the horses on our way in! Really appreciated being able to bring our dog. Very comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen, AC kept entire house cool. The layout of the cabin allows for some privacy and quiet , which is very nice. Some games and books in living room ; (the upstairs has a high ridge in the middle, and then a fairly low ceiling.) Worked fine for our young adult daughter, who is 5 ft. 7 inches. “We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness. Recommend!”

“We came to visit my daughter who lives near by and couldn’t have picked a better place ! The cottage is immaculate everything you could need! The view is amazing on the water . The only negative thing I would say is the no internet access only for the reason we got locked out when we 1rst arrived and we were able to find a spot outside to texted the owner a message and he was there very quickly. Overall we had the best time and would highly recommend this place !!”
