“We really enjoyed our stay. Home is at an amazing location, right on Songo Pond. Boats and life jackets were wonderful. Property was clean and worked for our group perfectly. Check in was easy. ”

“The property is just a short drive or bike ride to the village of Bethel Maine. We loved the proximity to endless hiking trails and wonderful roads to bike on. The town has great restaurants and a bakery. The kitchen had everything we needed for our monthlong stay and was very functional with a stove that has a center grill. The beds were comfortable, and we liked the rainfall showerhead. ”

“Check-in was a breeze. Main cabin was very clean and “up to date”. Cottage was rustic but charming. We did not use but I am sure it is ok for additional sleeping. The fact that there is no a/c was not an issue. Even on hot days the cabin cools off nicely for sleeping. Many fans provided. I would suggest adding a dishwasher to main cabin. Many unused cabinets that could be replaced to allow installation. Nobody enjoys doing dishes on vacation. Only other suggestion is more comfy furniture……

“Everything was so easy for checking in! The house was very well stocked with anything you would need. There were even extras just in case you forgot something like a tooth brush shampoo etc... Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived! The fishing on the pond was great! Caught plenty of bass and pickerel! Plenty of hiking to do nearby! And the best part was we were able to bring our two pups with us! They had a blast on the pond! The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate……

“The house was exactly what we wanted/needed. It was great to be on the lake and have access to use the stand up paddle board and the kayaks. We were close to lots of hiking options, breweries and farm stands. It was a perfect spot to relax. ”

“WONDERFUL!! Kimberly was excellent about contacts and very accomodating (we asked for an early check in). House was perfect for our family (lots of bedrooms!) and the hot tub was a big hit especially with the grandkids. Ample supplies for the kitchen too! Quiet spot but close to Bethel etc. Thank you!! ”

“We enjoyed a memorable ski weekend with friends in this sweet home with beautiful views. The fully equipped kitchen became a hub for cooking family-sized meals, and we loved the cozy dining room. On the day we decided not to ski, my husband took a relaxing steam, then we explored the pathway to the lake, and shopped in the cute town of Norway. In the home, the kids had fun playing outside or playing with the toys and games provided. This place is super clean and offers lots of comfortable……

“Huge improvement over a hotel. Susan and Brian are super nice and serve up some tasty ice cream treats right next door. They seem more set up for winter guests as there was only one horribly undersized ac for the whole house. Thankfully, it wasn't ridiculously hot so we did ok with fans. Church tower rings on the hour, every hour, all night long. Not great for us old people who sleep lightly. There's a small grocery/diner/liquor store just a couple steps away as well.
