“Everything was wonderful about our stay. One of the best rentals we have had over the years, and Janet has thought of everything, and the house is so very clean. The location cannot be beat with the waterfront, the dock and the swimming raft and loved having the boats available to us. Kitchen is well stocked and strong wifi (for those of us who had to do a little work while away). We didn't get a chance to watch the movies she has stocked, but there were a bunch of our favorites. “We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. We had 2.5 days of rain so were glad for the games and puzzles available. I think it would have been nice to have a clothesline for the swimming towels to dry. The chairs in the main area were about the only thing we would change. With the amount of rain, we were stuck inside but not very comfortably. ……

“Everything was so easy for checking in! The house was very well stocked with anything you would need. There were even extras just in case you forgot something like a tooth brush shampoo etc... Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived! The fishing on the pond was great! Caught plenty of bass and pickerel! Plenty of hiking to do nearby! And the best part was we were able to bring our two pups with us! They had a blast on the pond! The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate……

The views from the deck and 2nd floor of the home are spectacular. You can spend time on the pond kayaking, canoeing or dangling your feet in the water while sitting on the sturdy dock. You can also take advantage of the pretty landscape by sitting at the picnic table or at the adorable seating area with firepit the hosts have created. The appeal of the house……

“We visited the N. Conway area for snowboarding over a long weekend & stayed at this lovely property. While it’s a bit of a drive to the resorts, we didn’t mind, even during the snowstorm! The cottage was very inviting, comfortable, & well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the wood stove! The owners were likewise very gracious. We hope to visit again next year! ”

“This place was awesome! Cool rustic cabin with modern upgrades and add ons. The rustic feel to the original cabin made the experience very unique and the added on bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There is another separate cabin which was a great place to hang out, get some work done, or relax with an evening cocktail. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.”
