“We had a wonderful stay at the Apres Chalet. The condo was perfect for two families of four with a great layout, a place for gearing up to ski, and cute decorations and details. It was not ski in or ski out when we first arrived. We got some snow and it became ski out down a hill to a trail but required a hike back up the hill. That won't deter us from staying again!”

“This place was great for our group of 4 young ski families. There was enough space for everyone to hang out comfortably and the in-law unit above the garage offered a quieter space to escape for a bit. The drive to Sunday River was an easy 10min, and the 3 car garage allowed all of us to park (and recharge) our cars easily. The driveway was in great condition and had been plowed thoroughly, so no one had trouble getting in or out. Happy we stayed here and would definitely return in the future……

We hadn’t been to Newry previously and found that there was plenty to do locally for a 4 day stay. The weather was rainy for the first two days and there was plenty to do in the house itself for us to still enjoy our time. The game room, jacuzzi, and bar area created a lot of fun family time. “We had a great time for new years with a group of 24. There was plenty of room to spread out. Location of the home is fantastic for skiing at Sunday River. We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the home and the snow removal service. A few upgrades to pots/pans and sleeper sofa are recommended but overall a fantastic stay.”

“We traveled with three families over New Years. Plenty of space. Kitchen was well stocked, and hot tub was nice. Very close to Sunday River. I would recommend.Sunday River area is a little bit of a food desert. All produce was sold out from the local grocers. If you really want something in particular, you should probably bring it.The Igloo at Sunday River was really fun to have a drink at. Sunday River Brew Company close to the house was a good spot to visit. ”

“Our stay was perfect for us and our wedding party! We enjoyed all of it but especially the heated floors in the up stairs bathroom haha no more cold feet after a shower! It was so easy to communicate with our host. We are so incredibly thankful that he was willing to extend our stay a night after!”

“We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness. Recommend!”

“Place was great. Good views, close to south ridge, Matterhorn, etc… hot tub and sauna are a great addition. However the check out time is a little early, which would be the only negative. However it’s at the top of a hill. Bring your 4x4 or you might have a problem in the winter. ”
