“Great location, deluxe rooms are big and mod with some views of lovely river, great roof top bar terrace with fine views. Down side are thin but soft enough mattresses typical of Spanish hotels and cloying air “freshener” smells that seem to dominate the lobby and cafes of Silken hotels in Leon and a bit less Burgos. “I received an email to say that I gad to contact thevhotel 24 hours before arrival if I was arriving after 2pm, even though check in time was 2pm onwards. I phoned the hotel and they said it was no.problem as reception was manned til 11pm. Not sure why I received the email and had to make an unneccessary call? The location was fantastic and bed very comfortable”
