“Amazing! If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Nairobi, this is it! Hilary, the staff at African Heritage House was kind enough to give us a tour of the whole house..and since we came with our 5 year old, we were given the family room, and Hilary helped us to clear out any fragile pieces from the room. We were served with tea in the evening, and even in the morning before we checked out. We decided to eat dinner there, and were served an excellent 4 course meal.”

“We didn’t end up staying. The host was nowhere to be found. Finally our Uber driver reached her and half an hour later someone showed us to lead us to the apartment. It was a pit. We booked 3 bedrooms, but it had only 2 and not enough beds. I finally spoke directly to the host and asked her if she booked through hotels.com, and she said maybe…a long time ago. Fortunately we reached someone else who had an apartment nearby, so we moved there. I have been charged for memos but plan to demand a……
