“Great location and the apartment was large and clean. However, the amenities were weak. There was only one wine glass. The second one was broken. One coffee cup. There was insufficient supplies, such as coffee, pepper and toilet paper for our five day stay. We text our host repeatedly with no response. He did answer when we called. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. ”

“Our visit to Modena exceeded all expectations. We will definitely return. The apartment, Lori's House, was perfect and exactly as described. It was spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and very clean. The four stars for online description are because one important fact was missing -- the apartment is a third floor walk-up in a 400 year old building. However, the views from both the large windows and rooftop terrace were beautiful. Alberto, the host, could not have been kinder, more……

“Well appointed and comfortable apartment within a short walk of Modena town centre. Perfect location and Stefanie was very responsive to any questions, dinner recommendations or parking advice! Well set up for a couple and good air conditioning too. Only comment is there is a small staircase that is quite steep from the lift up to the floor the apartment is on but this is no issue at all. Would certainly recommend!”

Alberto is a hugely responsive host - replies immediately to any message - and has furnished the flat thoughtfully and attractively. It's right in the middle of town but quiet and peaceful - a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommended.”
