“We were not able to stay in this apartment, finding out as we arrived for check in at 5pm that there was a power outage in the house, that was communicated by an Italian groundskeeper. Luckily, our sister in law speaks Italian and was able to manage the transfer to a nearby hotel. Note that the online booking manager for the house lives in California, and was not able to be contacted immediately. “We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa. Stunning views to both snow capped mountains and the sea. Proximity to the mountains meant we could show my 9 year old Australian nephew snow for the first time, and spend the following day on the beach. A very moving visit the Sangro River War Graves, where we took my Dad to visit his uncles grave for the first time. Beautiful, peaceful place which is just wonderfully kept. Would absolutely stay again, I expect it’s even better in high season when……

“Die Wohnung liegt abseits der Hauptstraße und ist über einen befestigten Weg sehr gut erreichbar. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Vermieterin empfangen und sie hatte uns sogar noch einen kleinen Snack (warme Pizza) und einige Dolci, sowie gekühlte Getränke inkl. Spumante zur Begrüßung bereitet (da wir leider verkehrsbedingt später als erwartet angekommen sind). Die Tage am Pool unter dem Olivenbaum waren sehr entspannt und wir konnten die Ruhe genießen. Maximal die beiden lieben Wachhunde haben……

“Con la famiglia (4 persone), ho soggiornato in un appartamento della Residenza a primo piano com grande terrazzo. Siamo stati accolti con cortesia dalla reception dell'hotel, che è adiacente alla residenza. Siamo arrivati qualche ora in anticipo, ma ci è stato concesso di entrare subito nell'appartamento, che era già pronto. C'è un parcheggio gratuito all'interno della struttura. Anche se è possibile, non abbiamo sperimentato la cucina dell'hotel. Al bar abbiamo comunque sempre trovato……
