“Our room was large and comfortable, with 3 levels: one for the bedroom, one for the living area, and one for the bathroom. (This is a hilly area and the buildings are original, so the multi-levels are to be expected.) There was a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, and kettle. We had our own seating area outside our room but did not use it. Instead, we enjoyed the terrace with a view of the water.”

“This hotel is one of the best hotels that we stayed in Greece in terms of its excellent customer service, facilities, comfortable room with a huge balcony overlooking the sea as well a beautiful view of the Monemvasia island where the old town is. “Fantastic location and the view of the ocean from our room. Breakfast was super good, the best one during our trip in Greece. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing. ”

“Location is a little farther from town than I expected, but overall the stay was excellent in all respects. Excellent staff were attentive and professional. View of Monemvasia was tremendous. Unusual to sleep with balcony door open and hear the waves all night, very pleasant and refreshing!”

“5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options.……

“Een leuk hotel vlak bij de verbinding maar de oude stad. Prima kamer met zee zicht. Zo te zien gerenoveerd. Heel vriendelijke staf. Omtbijt buffet was uitgebreid met veel natuur producten.
