“This place was just perfect for the two of us, and the last night…4 of us! We were here for Liberty University’s graduation…25 minutes away. It was so nice to get out of that hustle and bustle of traffic and people to this cozy, restful retreat. The details of this place are extraordinary, far beyond expectations. The owner made it so easy, and was responsive to all messages prior to our stay! The only regret is not knowing about this place until now!”

The bedrooms are very cramped with no place to put your luggage. Cosets are crammed with extra linens. 2)Kitchen seating is cramped and uncomfortabe. 3)Living Room furniture is older than the photos show with pealing “pleather”. Also, over-sized for really small room. 4)Bathroom is larger than Living Room.”

Street lights from the church across the street shined very brightly in the bedroom window so some room darkening curtains would be helpful. “We enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect for where we needed to be. The beds were very comfortable! Kitchen and bathroom were both really nice! The only negative was that the flooring is all concrete and has a lot of steps and a ledge. Both my kids fell and hit their heads on the floor. So I wouldn’t recommend if you have a child who isn’t walking yet. “The first night—excellent. Second night at 2:00 am someone in the loft beside me starting yelling, screaming, fighting between male and female. This went on until 3:45 am and I finally went back to sleep. I heard every curse word yelled by each of them. Suggestion—the door to each loft needs a deadbolt lock for added security. The neighborhood where the west end flats are located is sketchy and if I was a female—it may not feel totally safe at night Other than that—neat and would suggest.……

“We visited Roanoke to attend a two-night concert at the Jefferson Center—about a two minute walk away. Downtown Roanoke was also within minutes of walking. Parking was convenient and safe.
