“Very cool hotel. It is for people that do not need a concierge. There is no cable tv.. only Roku. Super comfy bed with plenty of pillows! Snacks, ice & drinks are provided free of charge in the main meeting room. Also, parking is next door in a garage. $8 is the maximum for a day. We would definitely stay here again. Berglund Center is just minutes away. One more thing, the downtown is more like a Richmond or Baltimore downtown. Not a cozy hometown feeling but I felt safe. ”

“The hotel was upgraded and smelled fresh. The grounds were clean. The breakfast station was really eye appealing. Overall everything was good. However the pool was so cold. I feel the heater was not working. All the families were shivering in the water. I did not like the fact the water was so cold in the pool area. However the pool was clean and gym area too.”

“Beautiful restored bank turned botique hotel. Super cute! Rooms were beautifully restored and loved the old fashioned styles! Great location by tons of bars and restaurants. Easy walk to the train station, too!”

“I love that this is a repurposed elementary school! It was clean, roomy for the two of us (and our dogs). Plenty of grassy area. We are notbeer drinkers but the brewery is a great idea and looked like a nice patio to hang out in if it had been warmer. It is also convenient for a quick drive to downtown. We have already referred a friend to this place and would stay again if we return to Roanoke.”

“I was happily surprised by the size of our room and the breakfast that was served. Reminds me of how hotel stays *used* to be back in early 2000s. Room was 2 beds, plus a pull out couch, coffee table, desk, large mini fridge, and all the little things that used to be standard (iron, ironing board, luggage rack, etc) The room felt like a mini apartment and it was wonderful. Breakfast included all the cold and toaster options like cereal/bagels/fruit, but also had amazing scrambled eggs, bacon,……

“Is the room was clean, the bed confortable, breakfast was included and there was plenty variety. My key did not opened the back door, even though they changed it twice. In the room the phones do not work, one of the lamps did not have a lightbulb, and the lamps shades were broken and dated, also the desk chair that was in the room was peeling off..... honestly it felt like the furniture was the leftover from another hotel...lol but all the staff was very helpful and amicable. ”
