“This is a beautifully adapted Tudor Manor House into a first-rate hotel. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful to view and the private chapel is an added delight to visit. Staff were helpful and the food was very good both for breakfast and dinner. I was disappointed that I could not get wifi in my bedroom which was a problem as I had work to complete in the evening. I managed well once downstairs in the Tudor Hall. I knew there was no lift but the second floor required four flights……

“Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service. Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay. ”

“This is a gem. We stayed on a Sunday evening having had a long day in Birmingham (40 mins north). It was quiet but beautiful and the staff were lovely. The main building is i assume an old stately home and our room was in ond of a few new wings. The room itself was spacious and spotless. We had a grest night's sleep and in the morning the shower was great. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. To top it off it was incredible value.”

“I like the architecture and design of the property, like the area as I have lots of memories living near by for 4 years, love local diner and antic shops, to have chinese food next door was also convenient, appreciate to have a quiet room. I was only regret not to have a brush for the toilet in the bathroom.. The staf was very kind and friendly.. so thank you all”
