“The mattress is very old and hard.”

“Lovely clean apartment that looks really impressive and modern. Unfortunately the temperature was set to 25 degrees and we were unable to change this, whilst trying to get ready for a formal event. It was rather uncomfortable putting a suit on in 25 degree heat!!!”

“Its a big but old hotel. Just need to stay for one or two days is ok, cos only 20 min. free wifi can be used, thats unbelievable in 2021. ”

“Hotel was lovely looking and the room was nice too. However, we paid a rate that was supposed to include breakfast. When we went down for breakfast we were told that the chef wasn’t in work that day so the only things available was panini or toasties out of the coffee room. The food looked like it had been there for ages and I paid for an actual breakfast. We weren’t told there was no chef until we went down for the meal. I feel we should have been charged less as at no point were we told that……

“We were greeted on arrival, the lodge is presented well, beautiful grounds. Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working so we had to carry everything up the stairs. There were good facilities. I’d say that having a room at the front of the house where people come and go, it would have been nice to have a net curtain as well as the drape curtains for a bit of privacy, considering there isn’t much space in the bathroom to get ready. The kitchen is well stocked with a good breakfast selection. ”

“Superb establishment with staff that goes out of the way for you to be comfortable. Really nice converted property, really clean and tidy. Bed was a little uncomfortable but all in all, excellent stay. Really simple well cooked breakfast with good quality ingredients. These guys have put time and effort into the simple things executed very well! Highly recommended! Who ever cooks in the kitchen, everything seared and cooked to perfection. Top quality fresh berries, they’ve spent money on……
