“This was perfect for us. Private, close to anything you need. Amongst the vineyards. You can see Nipozzano castle winery from the deck and the pool. The pool was always clean and a perfect bit of peace.”

“Anna is very attentive and really helpful. She really does want you to have the best time and experience in her home. The location is good as long as you don’t mind a little drive. The house and grounds are STUNNING! We loved our stay and would go back. The weather wasn’t great when we went but we still utilised the pool and hot tub when possible. Die Küche verfügt über alles was man braucht und es gibt ausreichend Terrassen um zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit einen schönen Rückzugsort zu finden. Und die Sonnenuntergänge sind immer wieder malerisch. Lediglich die Zufahrt zum Haus ist wirklich herausfordernd und beschwerlich; man braucht schon einigen Mut um sie zu bezwingen! Wir……

We of course knew it would be hot in August and were glad to find La Tegolaia had enough bedrooms to suit our needs and included "Deluxe amenities: newly installed air-conditioned bedrooms...". And that is true but for the notable EXCEPTION of the Master Bedroom on the third floor of what is referred to as "the tower". A lovely room to be sure, but the focus of all the hot air rising from the rest of the house in 95-100……
