“Leider hatten wir mit dem Wetter nicht ganz so viel Glück. In dem Haus kann man gut entspannen da der Trubel der Welt aussen vor bleibt. Der Pool hat eine sensationelle Lage, ist zu jeder Zeit sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit zu erreichen und bei Problemen kam Hilfe aus dem Ort . Der Ort Londa ist ca. 8 km weg. Dort kann man das nötigste einkaufen. Zum größeren Lebensmittel Einkauf muss man nach Dicoamo fahren. Ca. 20 km vom Haus entfernt. Was in Londa fehlt ist ein gemütliches Café.……

“We stayed at this very special villa for 6 nights in September. Our host, Guido, was exceptional and we really appreciated his hospitality. We traded maple syrup for olive oil and he invited us to join an evening with his friends and family and made Prosecco/maple syrup cocktails! The property is an historic villa with loads of charm and character and it felt very calming to be here. Two of our favourite meals were in nearby restaurants ( Mandri and La Bottega Di Castagneto). “Anna is very attentive and really helpful. She really does want you to have the best time and experience in her home. The location is good as long as you don’t mind a little drive. The house and grounds are STUNNING! We loved our stay and would go back. The weather wasn’t great when we went but we still utilised the pool and hot tub when possible. Our children also loved the place and we all had fun regardless of weather. Thanks Anna”

“We had the most wonderful stay. Every thing is there plus some extras! Bottle of wine ,oil, coffee, milk the host also gave us eggs.There was also fresh flowers a lovely touch. Gianna was so helpful telling us places to visit and restaurants to eat at. You will not find a better host she really made us feel at home. We hope that one day we will be able to return.”

“L'endroit est idéalement situé à environ 30 - 45 minutes du centre historique de Florence et à 20 - 30 minutes des commerces. Calme absolu dans cette charmante petite maison où seule Renate (la propriétaire) vit et s'occupe de vous si besoin. La piscine est très agréable et la terrasse pour déjeuner à l'extérieur est bien abritée du vent et du soleil l'été. Bref, nous aimons beaucoup l'endroit !”

“A beautiful property in a charming location. But wantonly misrepresented. We of course knew it would be hot in August and were glad to find La Tegolaia had enough bedrooms to suit our needs and included "Deluxe amenities: newly installed air-conditioned bedrooms...". And that is true but for the notable EXCEPTION of the Master Bedroom on the third floor of what is referred to as "the tower". A lovely room to be sure, but the focus of all the hot air rising from the rest of the house in 95-100……
