“The location is great, it is up on a mountain past Londa but to get to it you need to go up some ver inclined hills, definitely a different experience for someone looking to be away from the big city. The host was a very attentive super friendly guy that made sure we got there safe and was always there to help us. ”

“This is a perfect Tuscan retreat in the beautiful hills only 45 min. from Firenze. Grazia and Riccardo made us feel like a part of their family and they made homemade and homegrown food served with love. We will definitely come back in the future. Grazie mille Grazia and Riccardo. “Excellent communication, and very quick reply to our messages. Linda was wonderful and very helpful. (She speaks perfect English as well) We arrived very late but she was waiting for us, explained how to reach the area. We got a welcome gift as well. The room was very clean, organised, with small little cute details. 😁 Swimming pool and sun beds available as well. Highly recommend. We spent a very nice time there.”

“I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Castellare for two weeks with some friends and my parents. This was a trip that had to be postponed two years(!!) due to the pandemic, so it had some pretty high expectations to live up to, and it met them all. The property was so beautiful and worked very well do our group, allowing us to get privacy when needed, and come together as a group when we wanted to. We were able to easily get into Florence when we wanted, and we’re able to take day trips……

“We enjoyed a one night stay here. The room was comfortable for my family of 5. We enjoyed the onsite swimming pool. One reason why we stayed here was to be close to Florence. We were rewarded with a straight shot right into the east side of the city in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night. We lucked out and found parking just outside the city center. Upon our return, we used our room key to reenter the building and our apartment. One thing to note is there is steep hill from the parking area……

“We spent a lovely week at this gorgeous cottage in a stunning setting. Beautiful solitude enhanced by the sound of nature and nothing else. The cottage was warm, we went in mid October, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. No knick-knacks and lots of books - perfect! We enjoyed evenings by the fire and made full use of Catina's wonderful recommendations. I don't think there could be enough adjectives to described the loveliness of this place, not to mention the wonderful hosts, Jack and……

“Casa che risponde esattamente ai nostri criteri di soggiorno in autogestione con un gruppo di 12 adulti sui 70 anni, tutti in buona forma. L'interno è accogliente, confortevole, con stanze ampie e ben ammobiliate in stile. Anche l'esterno permette di godere del panorama in un quadro di assoluta tranquillità. Il clima non ci ha permesso di approfittarne appieno ma ne ane abbiamo colto le potenzialità ”
