“What is not to love about being welcomed into Richard and Ruth’s home. They are wonderful hosts and spent hours talking to us both during our stay. The house is an amazing building and learning about its history was wonderful. We walked into the tiny town and got some dinner, lovely options available. We can not wait to visit again and will be recommending anyone travelling around this area should certainly book a stay.”

“Wonderful B&B! My husband and I took our two daughters (ages 3 and 1) to Magic Wings and wanted to make it a fun overnight trip. The Black Walnut room #7 was excellent, large and clean with 2 double beds (we brought our own Pack n Play). Smart TV, lots of outlets and a bonus couch with a round coffee table (which is something you don't really think about until you have a toddler..) everything you could want. “Very historical hotel, a bit spooky on hallway and many strange/noisy sounds in the room. The floor was bumpy. I forgot a power charger in the hotel, but the hotel refused to help me got it back in the same day and just said it’s not found. No matter how I will never come back again. ”

“I was very surprised upon arrival how kept the place was. The room had all the heat needed. The most shocking was how hot the water was. I paid for most expensive hotels, and the water was hot like this place. It was pleasant to meet the manager, who went out his way, to make sure i could get a early check-in, during the upcoming snow storm. Thanks for the stay. ”

“Staff was accommodating and helpful. Room was basic, but that was expected due to the age of the building. Clean and sanitized, but definitely needed some “deep” cleaning, like dusting baseboards and taking marks off walls. Overall a good experience and in a great location. Would visit again!”
