“This is one of the most quaint places I've stayed at. Building was built in early 1900's but has been refurbished inside with modern features but retains the old craftsman look and feel. Our room was larger than I expected. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The sink was smaller than expected but made sense actually. Extremely quiet. Monterey has very little activity. Still, it was a perfect place to stay because we were here to ride the Cass Scenic Railroad. The breakfast is definitely a……

“We loved the property. Grandma must have been a great lady, her home so inviting and lovely.So quiet and comfy, just what we needed after hiking to Chimney Tops as a family. The bed gave me a wonderful night’s sleep.Her treasures gave her he place an extra level of beauty and conversations. But Expedia needs to correct the information regarding the restaurant on premises. It seems to be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked great. ”

“though this is an older property, it is obvious the owners are trying to keep it up. the room is newly painted, the parking lot is brand new. The beds were very comfortable and everything very clean. We had a 2 bed unit, and it came with a full kitchen! I definitely would return here and recommend it. ”
