“We decided to have a quick stop in Richmond on our Spring Break travels and found comfortable lodging in this historic and well preserved listing. The amenities were as described, though we didn’t partake in the laundry that was located in the e basement. Steps from Perly's, Stella's grocery and everything else downtown, yet feels calm and quiet in the apartment.There was a persistant acrid smell, like burnt rubber or wires in the bathroom the whole time, which would not clear even with the exhaust fan. “The apartment was spacious and clean with nice furnishings and comfortable beds. It is above a laundromat but we never heard anything from downstairs. Parking was easy. We were there to ride bikes on the Capital City trail and the location was convenient because it was close (2 miles) to the start of the trail. My only complaint is that there are not restaurants in walking distance to the apartment but they were a short drive away. Overall a very pleasant stay.”
