“My wife and I, my in-laws and our two dogs stayed here. The property is wonderful and in a very beautiful setting. I honestly don’t think the pictures do it justice. A perfect place to take everything you need for a few days and not leave the property. I would highly recommend sitting on the deck to watch the sunset. ”

“The cabin is near the top of a mountain and is just a little slice of heaven. It is a great little log cabin with first floor living plus extra space in a loft and in the basement. The house was clean and well stocked. There is a hot tub, grill, fire pit and pond. Lots of field room for walking and we saw rabbits and a flock of wild turkeys. Can't wait to go back.”

“My husband and I spent a long weekend here to get some fresh air and quiet time and it hit spot! The cabin was clean and cozy, we had excellent bird and deer watching out the windows, and the access to the trail made for a great long walk to Union Dale. Property was exactly as expected and the owners were responsive and helpful. Would stay again!”

“Beautiful house which was secluded in the woods, very clean, cozy and spacious and great location for access to elk mountain, only downfall was the driveway was covered with ice and snow so we weren’t able to make it up with our vehicle, had to park in the street and carry everything in, the owner did warn us about this, a 4WD vehicle wouldn’t make it up due to the steepness and icy conditions, this was an inconvenience but still had a great time!”

“The cabin was great, very cute and exactly fit my needs, the owners were very accurate in information listed. The property had all of the amenities for a great stay that makes you feel just far enough from real life that you get a much needed break from daily life. The owners were very helpful and I was very happy with their care and keeping of the property in the middle of a wind and snow storm. “We had a wonderful time at Bobby’s cozy home. A 12 min drive to the mountain to ski. Perfect fit for 2 families. Lake was frozen solid and we were able to ice fish! Bobby was responsive to our questions. Thank goodness he left salt on the property. The driveway was ice and we would have been stuck without the salt. We look forward to renting the home in the summer to swim in the lake. A beautiful property. ”

“Three quick things: 1. The listing is about 15 minutes outside of Montrose, 2. The hosts live in a house connected to the cottage but are super nice and will respect your privacy, and 3.
