“This is a motel on the main drag of Custer. Easy walking to bars and many restaurants. It’s an older hotel and not much to look at on the outside. However the rooms are large and nicely appointed. Comfortable beds, nice towels, indoor pool and hot tub, coffee maker, nice size TV, in room are just some of the amenities. If you can get a good deal on it, it’s a great place. Took one star off as it’s a little pricey. Custer is a great base camp for the southern blackhills.”

“Nice little place close to the heart of Custard. We stayed in the lodge because we were only doing a quick overnight. The cabins look cool! Came back to our room that night to 3 deer right outside! ”

“We had an issue with noisy patrons above us in the middle of the night and the clerk was very attentive and folllowed up on it for us.”

“It was a very comfortable stay close to what We wanted to visit. They offered room service if we wanted it, we were left alone which is what I liked. The only thing is every so often I would hear water that sounded like it was in the wall. Perhaps it was the plumbing. ”
