“We were in the area for wedding activities and this place was great for access to Urbanna. More importantly it gave us a place to relax between gatherings. “Was convenient to my job site and had all the necessary amenities. Arlene was a great, responsive host. 2 small issues- no ac/heat in bedroom, so it can get pretty hot in the summer Lots of moths and other flying bugs Other than that, great place to stay and well worth the price!”

“My sister and our spouses and children got away from DC for a long weekend. This place is a piece of paradise. We had six people in our group which is the right size for this house. We were outside almost the entire time, trying to fish/crab off the dock, sitting at the firepit, or going for a row in the numerous kayaks, canoe or paddle boat. Very peaceful neighborhood and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Would highly recommended. Did not have any issues with the house and good……

“We had a chance to spend the weekend with our kids (age 18 and 20), and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The view was spectacular and the home was perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet there was so much to do—fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, ping-pong, darts, board games, the list goes on. Everyone had a fantastic time. The only problem is that were only there for three nights!”
