“There needs to be more glasses in both areas. There definitely needs to be wine glasses...there were absolutely no glasses appropriate for wine. Clearly, people rent both sides: one side had all the plates, the other side had more than its share of pots. Very frustrating. (We did try to leave with both sides equally distributed with glasses and dishes.) Honestly, if every bed is filled, there are not enough dishes for everyone. That said, we did enjoy the cottages. “The house is all updated and was perfect for our family! The downstairs apartment suited the "older folks" while the young adults had their run of the rest of the house. The house was in a great location just a short walk to the public access to the beach. It was stocked with all you need to spend a day at the beach from chairs and umbrellas to the beach cart to carry it there.Emerald Isle is a very family oriented beach ( think quiet and uncrowded). “Friends for over 40 years , 10 of us gathered at this home for a wedding in Beaufort. Wonderfully decorated home with superb layout for multiple conversations areas . Beds were all very comfortable , and I loved the artwork and light fixtures . Very tastefully done . Having that many folks under one roof is always concerning and it flowed beautifully .
