“My husband and I took our 3 boys here for a little spring break getaway and it was PERFECT! My oldest loves fishing, so he spent a majority of the time fishing while my other 2 and I enjoyed the nice warm hot tub! I also really loved sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the lake while having my coffee. Gail was an excellent host and very prompt with responses and making sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met! The home is breathtaking and we cannot wait to come back when……

The house has beautiful historical details, lots of super clean bedrooms and big rooms with comfortable furniture for a family gathering. I grew up nearby but now live out of state and it is great to find a nice centrally located place to host family events. “This house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing week with the family…. We were close to Ann Arbor and were able to go see a U of M softball game and tour the campus. It’s a beautiful 45 minute drive to U of M. We spent most days fishing at Wamplers lake which was only 20 minutes away. The house has plenty of room for friends and family to visit and is set up perfectly for a family bbq with a large deck with a table and umbrella. Everything is there that you need to cook. “Nice property but we did have some issues. To be fair, the host did their best to correct them.The biggest issue is that the house is on a well and the drinking water was terrible. Be sure to bring drinking water with you.The second issue was that the house had very poor water pressure, probably do to the well. Be sure to check with the host before booking to make sure this issue is fixed!Overall we had a very positive experience and the host was great to work with.”

“I was very pleased with my stay at this property. It is located very close to a little downtown area with small shops and restaurants. I stayed 8 days and the beds were comfy the upstairs tub was my absolute favourite to kick back relax and soak after being out in the cold all day. I definitely will stay here again in the future I adored all the charm this place definitely has.”
