“My husband and I took our 3 boys here for a little spring break getaway and it was PERFECT! My oldest loves fishing, so he spent a majority of the time fishing while my other 2 and I enjoyed the nice warm hot tub! I also really loved sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the lake while having my coffee. Gail was an excellent host and very prompt with responses and making sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met! The home is breathtaking and we cannot wait to come back when……

The house has beautiful historical details, lots of super clean bedrooms and big rooms with comfortable furniture for a family gathering. I grew up nearby but now live out of state and it is great to find a nice centrally located place to host family events. The owners were very responsive and provided what was needed to make our stay special. Thank you for sharing this Victorian beauty with us. ”

“This house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing week with the family…. We were close to Ann Arbor and were able to go see a U of M softball game and tour the campus. It’s a beautiful 45 minute drive to U of M. We spent most days fishing at Wamplers lake which was only 20 minutes away. The house has plenty of room for friends and family to visit and is set up perfectly for a family bbq with a large deck with a table and umbrella. Everything is there that you need to cook. “Nice property but we did have some issues. To be fair, the host did their best to correct them.The biggest issue is that the house is on a well and the drinking water was terrible. Be sure to bring drinking water with you.The second issue was that the house had very poor water pressure, probably do to the well. Be sure to check with the host before booking to make sure this issue is fixed!Overall we had a very positive experience and the host was great to work with.”

“I was very pleased with my stay at this property. It is located very close to a little downtown area with small shops and restaurants. I stayed 8 days and the beds were comfy the upstairs tub was my absolute favourite to kick back relax and soak after being out in the cold all day. “We had a great stay at this cottage. The twin over full bunk bed was just like the one at our home, so the kids felt right at home. Having the chickens to check on and provide us with fresh eggs was awesome! The kids absolutely loved it, and they enjoyed the fenced in backyard. Having the room with the pool table was a great spot to hang out, and fun to have the cousins and family over to spend time together. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and it met all our needs. ”
