“The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. “The property was absolutely beautiful. This is perfect for a space away from town as it is practically in the middle of the woods. It is a little far from town (about 20 mins) but it wasnt too bad. Additionally the path to the river is pretty steep, so it is a bit of a hike to get up and down. The beds were comfy and the living areas were super spacious. We had a bachelorette get away here and we would definitely come again for a summer getaway. ”

“Stayed here for a couple of days to spend the weekend fishing for steelhead on the Muskegon River. Accommodations were great; ample space for my husband and I, well stocked, clean and fun decor! Cozy and cute. The fishing was great too! Will definitely return.”
