“We loved staying over at Kim's cabin over the past weekend. The cabin was exactly as described, and is beautiful. The location is perfect, and Kim is the most gracious host. She went out of her way to put up fairy lights all over the cabin when I inquired if there were any. She is excellent with her communication and was swift in responding to all of my queries. We had a great stay and will definitely be going back! The one thing I would caution other guests about is the coil stovetop. If you……

“The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. “Floyd was great! There is a cat, she is very sweet. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had 13 people (8 stayed the night). The kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of space.”
