“The property is lovely and many thoughtful items are in place. However, -no comfortable chairs with lights for reading -no picture of the upstairs loft on line -towels not the quality we expect at this price point -as others have said, hanging and storage are inadequate, even a few luggage racks would help -when we arrived the door was not locked, the bathroom hadn't been checked and the dishwasher wasn't empty. -we also didn't have hot water our first three mornings but the owner responded to……

“We were just passing through and only stayed one night. Wish we had time to stay longer to explore the area.”

“We loved our stay. They thought of everything to keep us comfortable. Historic and yet thoroughly modern -- with all the tech you could want. Close to our son in Pittsboro and not too far from Chapel Hill! It would be great for a game weekend if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the campus area.”

“The only issue is that it needs a full size refrigerator. Mini refrigerator just isn’t enough. And needed more than 1towel ….other than that it was great!”

“Our family enjoyed this property with all of its unique indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition to the plentiful space inside, we enjoyed having great sitting areas outside. We are also a cooking family, so we appreciated having a kitchen stocked with pots, pans and tools as well as a gas grill. This enabled us to fix a near-gourmet meal for ourselves as well as friends and family who live nearby. We hope to return to this property in the future.”

“We absolutely loved our stay. The property was so beautiful. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a family of deer, cute squirrels and a variety of birds. The nature walk around the property was a nice touch, along with the hammock and swings. It was very peaceful and relaxing but at the same time very convenient to restaurants and stores.”
