“Much of South Lake Tahoe is noisy and congested. Fireside is located on the edge of the Camp Richardson forested region, perfect hiking distance from Pope Beach. They provide guests with complimentary bikes in the warmer months and snowshoes when the drifts kick in. Unlike many Tahoe motels on the highways, Fireside Lodge is quiet at night (due to its location). “Visiting Lake Tahoe just to see it. The Inn is a fine place to stay, It is a little dated, but the bathroom was converted for fully roll-in accessable and that was great, Would stay there again. Could use a little better lighting.”
