“Cannot get a better location in Arromanches than this classic old seaside hotel. Front desk reception was so friendly. The staff makes this hotel feel quaint and family run. Our room was lovely and very stylishly decorated, as well as spacious and incredibly clean. It had a nice view of the sea, as well as the museum (which is right next door). The hotel is situated directly on the seaside promenade. The rooms lock from both the inside and outside with an actual key.

“Wenn man das Memorial von Cean besuchen möchte, hat das Hotel eine super Lage, man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß dort. Für die Altstadt ist man ca 40 Minuten zu Fuß unterwegs. Einen Supermarkt mit großer Auswahl kann man in gut 10 Minuten erreichen. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, es gibt eine Bar mit freundlichem Personal und einen Pool. Die Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel sind super, insgesamt war ich hier zufrieden.”

“We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. ”
“Very decent hotel, particularly good for overnight stays for the ferry. The reception we received was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was very clean. The communication from the hotel was great and they were very accommodating when we asked for a room on a lower floor. The parking is a bit tight so would recommend booking in advance. Perfect hotel for us.”
