“Our stay fit our needs just right. We needed a clean place to crash while spending most of our time in Acadia or somewhere on the island, and this spot is just minutes from crossing over to the island. <5 mins to great morning coffee spots, several lobster shacks. Having white noise helps drown out road noise. Wifi in room 10 is spotty and needs an extender, as cell service is sparse. I would definitely suggest adding more wall hooks throughout the room and bathroom - much easier to hang up gear……

“Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. ”

“We loved staying here at this cozy waterfront property. It was spacious and with a functional kitchen which was a plus! The location, although a bit away from Acadia, offered an escape from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor. The surroundings are serene with a lake just upfront. Overall a good experience. Just be prepared to check out on the dot at 10.00AM to make way for the cleaners.”

“Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable……

“Really cute home. Cozy foe out family of 4. Not far from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We saw a couple of deer outside the house on our first morning there. The stairs are steep and all sleeping accommodations are on the second floor, so keep that in mind when booking for anyone with limited mobility. The coffee maker didn't work which was a bummer for someone who needs thier am caffeine.”

“A newly renovated funky motor lodge. Rooms were fresh, clean and nicely decorated. The area outside is really sweet with fire pits, and grills and a hammock! So nice that you can prepare meals, and not have to eat out at a restaurant for every meal! Also, it is very close to an entrance to Acadia National Park so you can really avoid traffic if you want to. Loved it. ”
