“My family of 8 & 3 dogs loved this cabin! It's clean & well stocked & just as described. The teenagers enjoyed sleeping together in the loft area. The proximity to Bar Harbor & Acadia was perfect. We could go out & explore the area & head back to the cabin for lunch before heading out again. When we weren't out exploring we loved the large porch & fire pit. Host was great to work with. Would definitely recommend!”

“We stayed at the Dome Home for a quiet weekend away. This is the first VRBO that we took our dogs with, excuse the owner allowed pets. It was so great having them with us. My husband and I loved the comfortable king size bed and my kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen and bathroom are separate from the Dome Home which was perfect for me because I got quiet, alone time while cooking. Perfect for moms! “My significant other and I had a beautiful stay at this unique cozy cabin! This was our home base while in the area exploring Acadia and we loved starting our day with views of the lake and coming back to enjoy relaxing by the firepit. Everything was as described and it was nice having our own private bathroom a few steps from the main cabin along with access to a washer and dryer to keep our laundry fresh after a week of traveling and camping. “Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that……

“The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. The basic kitchen was good for us as we ate out every night. The washer and dryer were a good perk also. Overall a very good……

“Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable……
