“I would stay at the Godfrey again. I felt very comfortable in my room. I did not see any bugs. The room was clean. It has some minor scratches/bruises/bumps on a few surfaces, but for the most part, it suited all of my needs. Drinking water being provided by the front desk was convenient. “Really good stay at the Thompson. Fantastic location in the Gold Coast area right on the triangle with Gibsons, Tavern on Rush, Bellevue & Luxbar all on the doorstep. Room was great, really comfortable bed, superb shower and toiletries and an amazing view from floor 19. Common areas were really nice - there seemed to be a slight issue with the drains on occasion (!) but that did not affect the rooms at all, just the entrance area. Staff really helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here……

"At this price point, I was genuinely excited to stay here — but the experience was a complete disappointment. Every single towel had a strange smell, and I don’t think it was detergent. It was more like the musty odor of something moldy. The bathtub was clogged, so water kept backing up during showers, which felt awful. The entire room felt like it hadn’t seen sunlight in a long time. I rarely leave reviews, but the condition of the facilities here was truly disappointing. That said, I do want to highlight that every staff member I interacted with was exceptionally kind and friendly. Unfortunately, good service alone cannot make up for the poor state of the accommodations."
