“As others have said, we had a great stay at Frederick House. We stayed in Bowers 21 for two nights. The room with a comfortable king size bed exceeded our expectations, with a private balcony great for sitting out on and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. The room was better than the photos. Friendly owners and staff offered suggestions of where to go and places to eat. We enjoyed the wineries they recommended and the restaurants they suggested. An overall pleasant stay. ”

“The Inn at Meadowcroft provided our first experience of sleeping in a log cabin. It is a cabin with modern conveniences. The room was clean and tastefully furnished. Coffee was provided in the room. “We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet……

“We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. After waiting for twenty minutes we drove to the next restaurant to call them, since there is no cell phone reception at the Inn.
