“This place is very relaxing. It is completely void of the usual traffic sounds and people from the houses around me. If you want a secluded trip, this is the trip for you. We saw deer everyday, multiple times a day while we were there. We were lucky enough to even see a bear. The creek was my favorite part. I definitely recommend!”

“This was the perfect house for our family for our daughter’s VT graduation! First and foremost, it was extremely clean and tidy. The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. We would 100% stay here again; it is a beautiful house! ”

“I visited in the fall with some college friends for a game weekend, and had an incredible stay! The house is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to campus and downtown. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Blacksburg for a weekend!”

“We really enjoyed this location this year, we have stayed at others before, but this one is by far the nicest. Beds are all comfortable, and the location is good for fishing Walker Creek and the New River. And the local friendly dog came every evening to hang out. He loves Hot dogs!”

“Overall this was a great place to stay. We had 5 adults and a toddler and were comfortable. We brought our Cavachon and he did well too! Host was very responsive and great with work with. Only drawbacks, floors were a little dirty. If there was a regular mop, I would have cleaned the floors! Ants around the sink, and strong odor from someone’s previous pet visit. All manageable and I’d stay there again! ”

“Quiet community house 1.9 miles from Christiansburg Aquatic Center. EASY to get back and forth quickly and you could even walk or run as there are sidewalks the whole way. It was an easy drive into Blacksburg Virginia Tech to enjoy campus life and dining options. Huckleberry trail close-by and great hiking option too. This is your grandmom's house stocked with lots of supplies for cooking full course meals, thoughtful touches like extra bagged ice in freezer, coffee and some treats. All……
