“We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The leaves were newly turning and it is close to many places for a walk in the woods. We hiked to the loom lake fire tower, kayaked, made marshmallows and enjoyed the outdoors. Also found a large amount of chicken of the woods mushrooms in the woods behind the cabin! ”

“The house is charmingly decorated in cabin style and appears to have been recently updated. Many of the appliances seemed new and they all worked well. Furnishings were comfortable, and the laundry and kitchen were all well supplied with the items we needed. Being able to use the kayaks to explore the Narrows was really special! The hosts were helpful and responded to our few questions promptly. This is a beautiful area, and a really comfortable base to explore it from. ”

“We had a wonderful experience at Susan and Greg’s cabin on Upper Chateaugay Lake. The sunsets were as good as advertised, and the mountain and lake themed decor was absolutely conducive to a soothing, rustic experience. The unit was very well furnished from pots and pans, to comfortable bedding, to personal watercraft, an inviting fire pit, genuine Adirondack chairs, to an inviting lawn swing overlooking the lake. Attention to small details was a hallmark of this property. Susan was regularly in……

“Place was amazing! My boys and I(19&24 yr olds) had a great time! Place had everything we needed and some! It was very clean and tidy. It was relaxing and peaceful. We caught some rainbow trout early morning and had a crane visit every morning! Hiked nearby Cascade Mountain for some amazing views of the high peaks... As well as a few rounds of golf in Malone. Hope to return again.”
