“Kind host and great location”

“It rained most of our stay but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean , cozy cabin. We enjoyed seeing deer outside every day we were there. We enjoyed playing Miss Pac Man. We stayed here to attend 3abn camp meeting in Thompsonville . We would definitely stay again. ”

The property owner communicated with us promptly while providing us with things to do in the town. Great for a couples get away! We did not want to leave!!!”

“We loved Black Bear Cabin and would definitely stay again! The place was absolutely spotless and had everything we could need, plus some extra touches like K-cups and creamer for our morning coffee. There are games and books, and the game room has tons of fun things to do. Miranda was very responsive and even had the AC going for us when we arrived on a 90-degree day! We will stay again.”

“We had a short stay to do a day of hiking. The cabin was easy to find and so cute! The decor was perfect and it was so clean! The place looked brand new. It has just about anything you would need. The hot tub was so nice after a long day of hiking. Overall it was super comfortable and relaxing. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the forest and hike more trails. We will be back for sure!!! I should also mention Allison was our host and did an amazing job making sure……

“This was the perfect place for me to stay while visiting southern Illinois. The cabin is located in a private area, but it's just a quick drive to Marion, which allows for numerous food, drinks, and fun. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the cabin - it also provided all of the things needed to cook meals, etc. I'd recommend this property to anyone!”

“My stay here was fantastic. Checkin was extremely easy. There is a sign by the road to make finding the cabins easy. The cabin was exactly as described. Kitchen facilities had everything I needed to cook 3 full meals for 2 full days. Water pressure and temperature are great. We had a wonderful time enjoying the pond and outdoor area as well! Recommend to everyone. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was my husband and pup and we were immediately welcomed by a wildflower bouquet on the porch and a trail right off the entrance. The cabin was extremely comfortable and the design was intentional to let you unwind and focus on nature around you. We hope to come back soon! ”
