“My husband and I came with our dog to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our dog absolutely loved playing with the property dog, Kevin, in and out of the water. We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin.……

“Beautiful property in a quiet area of Makanda. We made several trips to Giant City State Park which was extremely convenient.We had to contact the host several times and Allison was very speedy with her responses and resolved a couple of minor issues that we experienced. We had 5 seniors in our party and we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our week. ”
